THE CDRD SIGNS MOU WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF PERADENIYA

The Centre for Defence Research and Development (CDRD) reaffirmed its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Peradeniya, solidifying the enduring partnership between our institutions. This significant event, held at the University of Peradeniya, underscores the ongoing commitment to collaboration in research and development that has been a cornerstone of our relationship.
The MOU was signed by Professor Terrance Madhujith, the Vice-Chancellor Peradeniya, of the University and the Director General - CDRD, Major General Imal Assalaratchi USP psc ptsc. The agreement signifies a mutual commitment to advancing research and development efforts that will benefit both national defence and academic excellence.
The CDRD team was warmly welcomed by the University of Peradeniya, with hospitality that reflected the strong spirit of collaboration and shared purpose between our institutions. The signing ceremony was followed by a comprehensive tour of the University's Engineering Faculty, where our team had the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and discuss potential areas of cooperation with the university's academic staff.
